Geoff Scheetz

| Geoff Scheetz completed his senior year at Huntington University after scoring 119 points in his HU career. The majority of his points came from three-point range. In his final year, Scheetz scored 50 points (including 16 three-pointers), 18 assists, 3 steals and 13 rebounds. In 2007-08, he scored 48 points, with 7 assists and 3 rebounds. Scheetz shot 40.0% from three-point range as a senior, averaging three points a game. In previous seasons, Scheetz had appeared in 31 games, including four of the six NAIA National Tournament games. He scored 69 points his first three years, along with 8 rebounds, 9 assists and 7 steals. He had highs of 12 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists in games this season. |

Scheetz is a graduate of Plymouth High School where he averaged 13 points, 2 assists and 3 rebounds a game as a senior, hitting 63% from the field (38% from long range) and 80% at the stripe. Geoff won the Free-Throw Award, received All-NLC honorable mention, and was named to the Class 3A All-Tournament team after hitting 5 of his first 6 shots in the State 3A Championship game, all from three-point range (an Indiana State 3A Finals record). At Plymouth, Geoff also lettered in soccer and baseball. While at Plymouth, Scheetz was named to the All-State Academic team and the All-NLC Academic teams in basketball and soccer. He is majoring in Elementary Education at Huntington University. |
